Sandstone Quarry

Sandstone Quarry Description

I recently purchased some land (http://maplered.com) south of Downsville, WI. The land (http://maplered.com) has an old sand (http://maplered.com) Stone (http://g603.net) quarry on it. Once called Ulmers Quarry. When the quarry shut down, they left a complete trainload of huge sand (http://maplered.com) Stone (http://g603.net) rocks. I would guess somewhere in the neighborhood of 3000-6000 lbs. From the little research that I have done on the old quarry, I understand (http://maplered.com) they use to call it the finest sand (http://maplered.com) Stone (http://g603.net) in the country. I am wondering if there would be a market for these rocks. They are truly beautiful. My barn is made from them, a few museums in Menomonie and (http://maplered.com) even a church in New York.
